The Danish company works with the Russian military and earns millions from it:
"There are still 4 Rockwool plants operating in Russia, and the company's products have been used for the military industry for years.
Even after the annexation of Crimea, Rockwool earned millions of crowns in Russia. A review of contracts in the Russian government's official tender database showed, among other things, that in at least 21 cases, Russian representatives of Rockwool supplied products worth a total of 123 million rubles (approximately DKK 11.5 million) to companies fulfilling large orders on behalf of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
In the contract from September 2017, for example, it is indicated that one of the permanent partners of Rockwool LLC "Marine Complex Systems" supplied materials to the "North Shipyard" shipbuilding plant. The products were to be used for the construction of the warship Vsevolod Bobrov.
The ship arrived in January 2022 in the Russian Black Sea Fleet, and the following month took an active part in the bloody battle for the strategically important Snake Island, which Russia invaded on the first day of the war."
