The German chocolate manufacturer Ritter Sport decided to continue working in the Russian Federation:
"Despite the war against Ukraine, the Ritter Sport company does not plan to leave Russia, which is an important market for the German chocolate manufacturer, and will continue to supply chocolate to the aggressor.
The company says that "the decision was not made lightly." Stopping supplies would mean a sharp reduction in production, "and therefore serious consequences for us as an independent medium-sized family business." The company also appealed to the impact on cocoa farmers.”
According to the company, the market in Russia accounts for about 7% of the entire business. Earlier, the company decided "not to continue investing in the Russian market and stop advertising on it.
