It also suspends capital investment and all promotional activities in Russia. In September 2022, PepsiCo Inc stopped making Pepsi, 7UP and Mountain Dew in Russia, nearly six months after the US company said it would suspend sales and production after Moscow sent tens of thousands of troops to Ukraine. In the 11 months since the start of the war, the company has made no apparent move to exit and continues to sell chips and dairy products in Russia.
Continue to work in Russia with increased revenues in 2022 compared to 2021 (+$223 million or +5%). Profit volumes also increased significantly in 2022 compared to 2021. The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP) has included two leading food corporations, PepsiCo and Mars, on the list of international war sponsors. SAS is taking immediate action and has already announced a boycott of Pepsi products due to their continuing business in Russia and funding the war.”
