"Air Serbia, which continues to operate flights to and from Russia, has announced an increase to 17 flights per week between Budapest and Belgrade - so more Russian passport holders can choose Hungary as a point of entry into the EU.
The announcement of the increase in the number of direct flights was made by Air Serbia, the majority owner of which is the state, and the minority share belongs to the airline Etihad.
Russian airlines can fly within Serbia, but cannot reach the country because Serbia is surrounded by countries that have imposed sanctions. Therefore, flights from Serbia to the EU offered by the company are of interest to Russian citizens."
